• Vice Principal/Primary Coordinator with a 50% teaching load as a year 5 teacher (a knowledge of international schools and the British curriculum would be a plus)

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher well-suited to a start-up situation. The role will be to assist the Principal in starting this new school. Therefore they seek those applicants with the knowledge, skills and work ethic required for such an important post. of particular interest is the flexibility and patience to manage change, combined with the ability to be organised and inspire those around you. The post would suit either experienced candidates or those wanting to take their first steps into senior management. A knowledge of the challenges of new schools is a plus, as is a working experience of pupils where English is an Additional Language.

Energy, drive and enthusiasm is required from an Educator interested in setting high standards and establishing a firm foundation for a new UK/Singapore curriculum school in Penang, Malaysia.  The school will offer both the UK and Singapore curriculums and have a mixture of expat, local and Singaporean teachers. It will open its doors during the first week of September in a renovated and remodelled office block with modern fixtures and fittings that has a capacity for 300 students from Reception to Year 8.  

Start up schools require a particular type of Educator; one who thrives on the energy and focus needed to both establish and shape a new school.
