Senior Marketing Executive - IT/Tech Publications inc For Dummies Brand (10 Month FTC) Chichester, West Sussex Competitive Salary + Corporate Benefits Package (Pro Rata) The Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's most successful publishing brands with a heritage spanning over 200 years. The Senior Marketing Executive role is within our Computing and Technology subject area, working on the print and e-books, as well as other online products. The main responsibilities will be to devise and implement creative and engaging promotional campaigns for some of the leading computing and technology brands, including the famous For Dummies brand (250 million books), Wrox and Sybex series’. Responsibilities will include devising and implementing creative and engaging promotional campaigns, writing and editing content for Technology Trade catalogues, developing market awareness and competitor analysis, and liaising with authors. This position will also be responsible for driving social media activity and online promotion, organising and attending events, communicating with global offices, creating design briefs and working closely with designers. There will also be regular presentations to our sales team. Selection Criteria: > Experience in Marketing is essential and knowledge of Publishing /book selling is desirable > Proven ability in presenting > Knowledge of online marketing in terms of using social media platforms and online banner campaigns > Proven ability in creating and monitoring marketing campaigns, with minimal guidance and instruction > The successful applicant will be able to work autonomously, have great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as be organised and creative > Competent, efficient and creative with good time management skills Compensation & Benefits: > Competitive Salary > Defined contribution pension scheme > Attractive Company Benefits including 25 days holiday (pro rata for the length of the contract), 50% staff discount, employee assistance programme.
