Head Chef required to run a la carte restaurant and banqueting facility within large three star hotel. Chef will be in total charge of 5-6 chefs, and will be responsible for ensuring all food prepared is too the standard expected from the hotel. Succesful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring kitchen acheives budgets, complys with all health and safety legistlation and food hygiene policies.
Additional responsbilities will include assisting in the day-to-day operations of the conference and baqueting facility. Jobs may include: handling conference lunches and assisting the banqueting chefs with all large scale parties and weddings.
Candidate should be educated to a 706/1-2 level or equivilent with a good restaurant or hotel background within either a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef position.
They should be well motivated and extremely organised with excellent crudentials to back up there previous catering experience.
Applicant should also have experience at running up to 50 weddings a year as the hotel is very banqueting orientated
