Our client based in Havant are industry leaders in the manufacture of cooling and heating products for the commercial, industrial and institutional applications.
They now require a Design Engineer to join their team.
Your duties will include-
- Working within the ISO 9000 Quality Assurance System
- Assist and oversee the development of new product ranges and special variants of exisiting products from conception to launch, including the production of CAD models, fabrication drawings, sales and other drawings using the inventor CAD system.
- To oversee the issues of drawings and BOM's using the engineering NOC system.
- overseeing the testing of prototype and pre-production units
- Creating punch press programs using the Radan CNC Package.
Experience required-
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering and a understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and electrical technology.
- Experience with autodesk inventor or similar 3D modelling package and CAD CAM systems.
- Experience of air conditioning products and sheet metal fabrication will be preferred.
