We are seeking a Project Development Officer for a busy organisation in Fareham for a 2 year fixed term contract.
You will be required to plan, coordinate and organise the development for all the existing and new developments within the Training Department.
Duties to include:
Agree project briefs with the Training Manager, which will include, resources needed, cost, forecasting deadlines and reporting on planned against actual.
Devise individual project briefs for all staff involved within each project
Co ordinate, monitor and track all development work ensuring deadlines are being achieved
Communicate any project change effectively to all staff
Record and file all communications regarding project status ensuring that the Training Manager is also updated
Support the Training Manager and complete all related Project and Administrative duties and tasks
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Project Management experience
Self motivated and enthusiastic
The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Focused and driven with excellent planning and prioritising skills
Experience in coordinating or managing others
Computer literate in particular Word, Excel and Project Management software
It is essential you have your own transport.
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, however, flexibility will be required
The salary is £24,000
