    We are seeking an experienced Customer service team Leader to work for a busy company based in Haslemere. You will ideally have relevant experience with a manufacturing or engineering organisation.

    The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in the day to day running of a customer services team ensuring that all staff provide excellent customer service/post sales administration support.

    Duties will include:
    Supervising a team of 5, dealing with holidays, sickness and rota’s
    Motivating and training staff to give excellent customer service both internally and externally, exceeding customer expectations wherever possible.
    Helping and advising customers by telephone/email
    Responsible for investigating all escalated customer dissatisfaction issues in a consistent,
    fair and prompt manner in line with company policy and training received.
    Recruiting and appraising staff
    Reporting to the Operations Manager on levels of customer service, contract reviews, invoicing, as well as all operational issues and looking for ways to improve service.

    The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
    Proven supervisory experience in working in a busy customer services environment.
    A genuine interest in helping customers
    Positive and enthusiastic personality
    Excellent communication skills
    Effective at reviewing, analysing, evaluating and implementing systems and procedures
    The ability to lead and motivate a team
    Problem solving and decision making ability
    Polite, tactful, friendly but assertive attitude
    Patience and calmness under pressure
    The ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
    Good computer, literacy and numeracy skills
    Confident Telephone manner
    Accurate data transfer with attention to detail
    Ability to speak a European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian) would be advantageous
