Our client based in Hook is looking for a Technical Services Manager to be responsible for the management and development of the Technical Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible to manage the resources within the Technical Services team, meeting with the customers on a regular basis to nurture Technical Services opportunities
• Play a key role in the relationship with key vendors and suppliers from a technical aspect
• Making sure everyone is well supported by these key people is fundamental to the success of the business
Experience and Skills required:
• You will have a wide breadth of technical knowledge allied to a sharp commercial mind
• Be smart, articulate, intelligent and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Hardware products are a suite of virtualization applications including VMware, Platespin, Visioncore etc and a good understanding of these products would be beneficial
• In addition they also sell a lot of Microsoft Server O/S and applications along with a variety of Symantec products, most notably Back-up Exec and Net Back-up, some knowledge of these products would be an advantage
