Chef will be serving in the main pub kitchen and will be preparing food to an extremely high standard.
They will be involved in cooking for the restaurant during lunchtime and evening service, as well as assisting other chefs where required. Other requirements will include to deputise for the Head Chef in his absence, working a mixture of shifts working roughly 40-45 hours per week.
Candidate must be educated to NVQ level 2/3 standard, and possess a good background in hospitality and catering outlets. They must be hard working and reliable and take pride and care with the work they produce.
The ability to lead a team is also essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and handle and commuicate with a team of chefs.
