Our client located between Fareham and Southampton, an international British engineering company with sales of $1200 million are recruiting a Process Technician.
Key duties include:
Building assemblies in accordance with procedures.
Carrying out rework and modifications.
Compiling test reports.
Conducting basic test routines at sub-assembly and GA levels.
Carrying out finishing operations prior to shipment to customer.
Maintaining input to business information systems.
The ideal candidate will have;
The ability to follow written procedures to test a product at general assembly and sub assembly levels.
Hands on experience and sound knowledge of electro-mechanical practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical data (drawings and technical publications).
Experience of SMT manufacturing, able to identify different component types, values and correct orientation.
Experience within the avionics industry.
A valid IPC accreditation is desireable.
