Due to on-going success my client currently has a vacancy for a Technical Information Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and dissemination of the company’s Technical Information. Applicants will need knowledge of the specific Industries highlighted and the up to date laws regulating them.
Job Specification:
• Ensure all technical information data from internal and external sources is complied accurately.
• Provide accurate and updated information sheets for all products manufactured, technical data, material data sheets in both Company and Customer format.
• To supply information as required against regulatory and legal issues in conjunction with the Technical Director.
• Provide data for the correct labeling of finished products.
• To maintain contact with external sources of information regarding legality of all products and ensure that company procedures are within current regulations.
• Liaise with Sales & Company Agents as appropriate to provide customers with required data.
• Coordinate Customer audits including Trading standards, Environmental Health and Kosher and Halaal production coordination. Coordinate internal audit programme.
• Any other task as delegated by Line Manager from time to time.
• Undertake such duties as may reasonably be required by the company from time to time.
Knowledge and required skills:
• Graduate (BSc) or equivalent level.
• Knowledge of food/or fragrance ingredients and the laws regulating these materials.
• Computer Literacy
• Able to work independently and maintain accurate records
