Chef de Partie required by this popular well established Gastro Pub.

The role
This popular well established gastro pub would like to appoint a Chef de Partie to join the highly talented kitchen brigade. The meals produced within this property are based upon a traditional British theme but the chefs have introduced influences from the Mediterranean and Thailand. The restaurant has been accredited with 1 AA Rosette and therefore it is essential that all applicants have a strong background with AA Rosette experience.

Your duties will be to work and assist and in all sections and able to produce food to a high standard, in a busy kitchen. Although you will not be a Pastry Chef in this position, experience of the Pastry section is necessary. Due to the popularity of this establishment it is essential that all applicants to this position are dedicated, have a mature outlook and are hard working.

Reporting directly to the Head Chef

Qualifications/Experience required:
You must have NVQ 1&2 or equivalent and a minimum of 2-3 years experience in fine dining/brassiere, and possess a food hygiene certificate. It is essential that applicants have previously worked as a Chef de Partie preferably within a 1 AA Rosette property and possess an eagerness to learn.
