Leading Electronics organisation require an Director of Business Management to join their expanding team in Hampshire.
The organisation holds several bespoke contracts with each of its Tier 1 OEM customers. These contracts frequently change or are added to as the business with the customer changes. Negotiation of the detailed terms and conditions in each of these contracts is a full time job which carries with it a very high level of responsibility to protect and optimise margin and profitability while avoiding any impact to customer relationships or customer satisfaction.
This is a senior role which combines a legal awareness with commercial experience to negotiate the Tier 1 sales contracts.
Main responsibilities will include drafting of contracts, SOWs, MOUs, Heads of Terms; Direct negotiation with Customer representatives; Involvement as required of sales, legal counsel and executives; Clear documentation of all actions and document changes; Driving resolution of issues to achieve closure and signature of contracts; etc
Applicants must have experience of OEM or other large contract negotiations, a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior contracts/commercial management role, be commercially astute, have meticulous attention to detail, experience of working to aggressive deadlines and an ability to act in difficult/ambiguous business and personnel environments and situations.
Knowledge of computer systems, electro-mechanical assemblies or consumer electronics is an advantage as is experience of storage and RAID technologies. Must hold a full passport and be available for international travel.
This role is paying a basic salary of £70k (+ benefits) and is based in Hampshire.
