Senior Buyer/Hotel Category Manager
Fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and company in Hampshire. The purpose of this role will be to implement purchasing strategies and improving overall efficiency.
Annual spend £12m covering 8,000 product lines across a diverse supply base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies across selected hotel categories - ensuring quality, price and supply logistics meet our commercial and internal customers\' needs.
- Identify and deliver further opportunities to reduce overall supply chain costs
- Regular engagement with brand teams
- Support senior buyer
- Promote good inter departmental relations & contribute
- Manage supply relationships with key suppliers
- Prepare, issue and evaluate tenders
Key Skills and Competencies
- FMCG, Manufacturing, Food or Hospitality experience preferable
- Solid understanding of implementing Strategies
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proven cost reductions
