    Job Title: Senior CAD Design Draughtsperson
    Location: Fareham
    Salary: c.£30k + benefits


    Job Summary

    Working from either Design schemes or Designer instructions produce 3D CAD models and detail manufacturing drawings and data.
    Checking of own and others work.
    Create tolerance stack-up calculations.
    Modifications to existing drawings.

    Key Responsibilities

     Produce detail designed 3D solid models using Pro-Engineer Wildfire 2 or CATIA V5 software.
     Produce 2D fully associative manufacturing drawings using Pro-Detail or CATIA V5 software.
     Work within and store data in a Data Manager environment.
     Liaise with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure the engineering intent and manufacturability is captured in the detail design and product definition.
     Create and calculate assembly tolerance stack-ups to ensure design intent of fits and interchangeability.
     Working from approved Engineering Change requests, modify existing drawings and record changes as required. These drawings can include Autocad and hand drawn.
     Check own and others work for standards and accuracy.

    Experience required

     Able to work in a Data Manager environment.
     Experience of using Pro-Engineer or CATIA, gained in a relevant professional engineering environment – ideally the Aerospace Industry.
     Experience of casting drawings would be an advantageous.

    Qualifications required

     ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
