Title: Principle Systems Engineer
Location: New Malden
Salary: Up to £40k + Benefits
PURPOSE To support the Systems Engineering group in the production of bid and proposal work, sales engineering support requests, CRAD activity for both commercial and military marine radar applications. To produce innovative systems solutions involving networks.
MAIN DUTIES
• To support and prepare bids and proposals
• To generate innovative solutions to problems relating to radar systems, display systems and networks.
• To travel overseas when required
• To produce accurate and regular reports
• To produce project documentation in accordance with Company procedures.
• To carry out any reasonable management request
• Project manage CRAD programmes.
• To be aware of and comply with Company Standards of conduct and all statutory requirements.
TECHNICAL/JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS Required:
• HNC/HND as a minimum in electrical/electronic engineering or a related discipline.
• A good working knowledge of radar systems.
• A good working knowledge of networks and network topology.
• Presentation skills including PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn and understand company products.
Desirable:
• AutoCad
• Understanding of the Marine environment
• Analogue and digital circuit design.
