This position is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to play a key role within our R&D function, developing and supporting our electronic product range. Our products are both sourced from 3rd party suppliers and developed in-house.
In this role, you will be supporting our retail and sales teams, as well as providing a technical interface between our company and our customers. We are, therefore, looking for someone with excellent communication skills combined with the required technical expertise. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, well organised and keen to develop your skills and experience within this industry.
Skills/Experience required
• Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 Years experience working in R&D environment.
• Project management
• Analogue/Digital circuit design.
• Embedded software design.
• PCB layout and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with other departments in-house and with external customers.
• Able to work as part of small team.
• Proactive, self-motivated.
• Full driving license and own transport as some travel within the UK will be required.
(an advantage but not essential)
• Can Bus and MOST
• C, C++, VB++ software experience
