Generate commercial lines revenue, manage and develop the new business development team within the FSA regulatory framework.
Key accountabilities:
Achieve personal new business targets
Give appropriate advice and develop client risk programmes
Maintain a high degree of integrity and professionalism associated with the provision of a quality service
Promote cross selling and achieve personal target
Follow the internal procedures in order to offer a compliant and effective service
Support the broking strategy in placing in appropriate markets
Maintain own competence levels and coach others in the team as required
Manage client credit control effectively
Represent the Group professionally (both internally and externally) and network within the region.
Skills Required
Knowledge of the UK general insurance market
Excellent presentation skills
Competent user of Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and
Excellent communication skills
Insurance Broking experience essential
