    The Company
    Our client is a specialist fit-out and refurbishment company and nationally one of the fastest growing companies of its kind and their customers include RBS, Lloyds TSB, Dept for Work and Pensions and MoD.
    Our client offer the skills, expertise and track record to deliver projects of the highest quality, ensuring the optimum value for money. They are a pro-active service provider; keen on early engagement with their customers, appointed consultants and their designers so as to fully understand the project requirements and the key challenges. Due to success, our client has strategic growth plans in the M3/M4 corridor (West Home Counties, Berkshire, Hampshire, Newbury, Oxfordshire), and as a result are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to fulfil this home based role. In terms of developing new business the BDM can be confident they will be reliably supported by both an established head office sales support function and a highly accredited team who will ensure excellence in delivery of business solutions in order to meet customer needs.

    The Role
    This is a new and exciting role within our client's division and is pivotal to their ongoing strategy of organic growth with the objective to develop an autonomous £20M Business Unit within 4 years.
    The role of Business Development Manager:-
    • Establish and enhance the brand and service offering in a new area to facilitate our client's organic growth
    • Sectors covered – Corporate, Professional, Leisure, Technical and Media
    • Develop new business within your region and develop and retain end user customers and/or third party consultants e.g. Architectural & Quantity Surveying practices, Managing Agents
    • Projects secured will be £0.5M-£10M from a robust, blue chip client base

    The Candidate
    The Business Development Manager skills and experience required:-
    • Proven track record in sales in this industry
    • New business development experience
    • Demonstrably successful sales technique
    • Understanding of construction / fit-out market
    • Understanding of all key stakeholder agencies involved in this marketplace
    • Understanding of different procurement routes and contractual arrangements
    • Ability to extract and translate customer requirements and develop comprehensive proposals that meet every need
    • Exceptional professional presentation and communication skills
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Presence and knowledge to be credible at all levels in an organisation

    The Reward
    In return, this Business Development Manager (BDM) will receive an excellent remuneration package inc £50k-£60k basic, £75k OTE, company car\car allowance, pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday.
