Bid Manager required to ensure successful bid outcomes; take a bid through the whole submission process ensuring it is well written, compliant and meets the required deadlines and budgetary/cost constraints. Other duties will include
Identify the resources required to deliver a successful bid
Form, lead and manage bid teams
Ensure bid teams are adequately resources and managed to budget and timescale
Agree and meet the financial targets agreed with the Business Development Executive
Write and present the papers required to obtain the necessary internal approvals
Identify appropriate partners for bidding and project delivery activity ensuring development for future direction and strategy
Identify suitable bidding opportunities, business benefits and risks and agree whether to pursue or not.
It is essential the ideal candidate can demonstrate the following qualities
Qualified to an HND or equivalent
Demonstratable experience of writing and delivering compliant bids
Project Management
Managing multi-disciplined teams
The bid process from Official Journal of EU through to final bid and negotiation
Excellent communication skills, particularly written skills
Sound numerical ability
Proven negotiation skills
Relevant backgrounds - Engineering, Design Solutions, Project Management, Construction, Asset provision and service delivery
Waste, Environmental
Full UK licence and must be willing to travel
