Reporting to the Financial Controller of a large UK Company, you will be responsible for managing a small Finance Administration team and overseeing the payment function and cost reporting.
As well as supervising the purchase process and the invoice payment process, the successful candidate will manage month-end pre-payments, accruals and adjustments, prepare monthly cost centre and project expenditure reports and be supportive to line managers in assisting them in understanding and managing budgets.
You will need to be a full or part qualified accountant with commercial experience and a clear understanding of GL accounting software, such as Peoplesoft. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills will be needed for spreadsheets, analysis and reporting, in addition to experience of budgeting and cashflow analysis. A good understanding of VAT regulations is also required.
