New boutique hotel in Southsea requires Sous Chef to help train the rest of the team and establish the reputation of the venue.
The hotel / restaurant is trying to make its mark in the local market as a small Mediterranean Bistro. Every thing is made from scratch and freshly to order. The restaurant is a 50 cover and the menu is changed on a regular basis.
You will be experienced of working under pressure and some experience of training and passing on your knowledge would be helpful, the kitchen is small and so you will need to organized and a good understanding of health and safety would be an advantage.
The role will be for the next four to six weeks and they are happy to offer up to £10 per hour for the right person. There is no accommodation and so a local person would be suited to the role.
