Group Reporting Accountant

Principal Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, and working in a team of six accountants, the successful candidate's principal responsibilities will be as follows:
• Support the preparation of the Group's monthly consolidated management accounts;
• Preparation of business group commentaries for inclusion in the monthly Executive Committee Report and Board Report;
• Support the preparation of the Group's interim and final published statutory accounts, including liaison with the Group's external auditors; and
• Undertake ad hoc finance-based project work, including involvement in M&A activity.
The Person:
This role would be ideal for a newly qualified ACA accountant or one with up to 2 years post qualification experience.
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with attention to detail and an ability to meet strict deadlines. Experience of consolidations and group reporting is essential. Excellent spreadsheet skills and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS are pre-requisites of the role.
