Finance Audit Manager
To £45,000 per annum + benefits

A large 'blue chip' FTSE 100 business with locations across the UK now seeks a Finance Audit Manager whose primary function will be to use their financial and business knowledge and judgement to discharge challenging and independent reviews which confirm the effectiveness of management controls and highlight important areas of weakness and improvement opportunities.
You will be a part or fully qualified accountant with a track record from practice or commerce. You should be confident and outgoing and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capable of liaison at all levels with finance and non-finance employees alike.
The key responsibilities will be:-
• Assess and challenge business risks;
• Manage the planning, conduct and delivery of a portfolio of audit assignments to achieve the targets and milestones of the audit programme;
• Coordinate and review the work of other auditors and team members seconded from the business as subject matter experts;
• Produce clear and concise reports containing recommendations to management based on objective analysis of information from each audit assignment;
• Contribute to the development of processes within the Internal Audit department to improve quality and add value to the Group and play a leading role in developing relationships between departments, local business units and their management.

Those joining the team would expect to spend approximately 3 years in the post before moving on to an operational role within one of our client’s businesses.
