An opportunity has arisen with our client, a blue chip company employing over 10,000 staff worlwide, for an experienced and highly skilled Assembly Techician. The succesful candidate will be expected to conduct equipment builds on complex, high value scientific products along with
assisting on factory acceptance tests and customer equipment inspection visits. You would also be expected to provide feedback on build and potential design issues to the technical team (including initial input at the design phase), and use a continuous improvement approach in assisting the supply chain team to improve its service levels.
Knowledge and Skills required:
Detailed mechanical fitting and complex assembly experience
Pneumatics and hydraulics experience
Electrical experience
Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
Slinger and Banksman trained advantageous
Practical experience of problems solving
HND or equivalent/relevant engineering experience
