Our client one of the largest recruiters in Hampshire is currently looking for someone to join there Export team.
The ideal person will have either previous shipping experience or have a minimum of 2 years Customer Service/ Admin experience.
The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, a good team player and very computer literate.
Salary £16,000+ depending on experience
9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
The responsibilities will include:
• Representing the company as one of the main points of contact for the export customer, ensuring that customer service excellence is achieved.
• Receive orders by fax, email and other electronic means and enter onto the system according to company guidelines and customer requirements.
• Acknowledge orders to customers in line with quality standards, communicating and discussing any anomalies and advising the estimated despatch date.
• Oversee customer orders throughout the distribution centre to ensure shipment deadlines and customer requirements are met.
• Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with export and customs regulations and company procedure.
• Organise the collection of goods with nominated courier or freight forwarder to ensure customer’s delivery requirements are met.
• Liaise with other departments internally regarding issues such as: Customer queries, complaints or changes to accounts and decide on course of action to be taken if necessary. Thus ensuring the smooth running of the customers account.
• To keep and maintain records of all orders and relevant documentation for easy reference and for auditing purposes. This ensures all regulatory requirements are met.
• Carry out any other additional tasks as required to meet business needs and objectives.
They are looking for someone who is immediately available as this position is temp – perm. You will also need your own transport due to the location.
